SAI gets electronic archiving system


Sayyid Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Busaidi, president of the State Audit Institution (SAI), inaugurated yesterday, an electronic archiving system (File Net), which is aimed at transferring the paper archiving system into an electronic one and helps change of all type of documents into electronic documents.

Implementation of this system comes with in the context of the agreement signed on June 26, 2005 between SAI and a computer systems and programming company.

The company, in cooperation with SAI, prepared at training programme, on handling the system, for the personnel of SAI's different departments.
